My guy, really just STOP comparing yourself to others. Do your own thing, be happy, practice whatever you want (can be lighting, shadows, 3D, whatever you like), study and learn about the tools you're using, and have fun!
Draw like a child would! Stop caring! Start being messy and doing whatever you find cool!
It's not about "being good at art" that you will progress, but "being good at expressing yourself" that makes art.
Also don't overwork yourself either. Really important. You don't see a child drawing everyday, but you do see them progressing faster than anyone, simply because they dare to use what they want. Even if it means mixing glitter with glue.
